We are often asked why prospective dog owners should consider
using a rescue organization to find their canine companion. Anyone
can go to a pet store or a breeder and purchase a Collie. We hope
that you'll recognize the benefits that are gained and bestowed
upon those involved:
Benefits to the Adopting Family
Each of our Collies are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped
and tested for temperament. This ensures that you are getting
a dog in good health that has been checked by our staff and our
vetinary partners. In addition, because we tag each dog with a
sub-dermal microchip, you'll have the peace of mind that you'll
be able to locate your dog should they lose their way. |

Enjoy a low-cost, tax-deductible adoption fee. Not only can you help
our organization with our dogs, but you can leverage your expenditure
to provide your family additional tax savings.
In addition, you'll enjoy these benefits:
- Housebroken - training can take a serious amount of time,
especially when you are busy working and tending to your loved ones.
- Less Destruction - No more chewed-up socks, couches or remote
controls. Older dogs are less apt to be running wildly around the
house chewing up everything in site.
- Easier Trips to the Vet - our dogs are already spayed or
neutered, they have their vaccinations and all medical conditions
with the dog have been identified. This helps to reduce any expenditures
that you'll have to make compared to buying a puppy.
- The best dog for you - because we take the time to match
the personality of our dogs to our owners, and becuase most of our
dogs are fully grown, you'll know exactly what your new companion
will be like. No more surprises.
Quality, loving dogs.
When we acquire our dogs, each of them is bathed, groomed, vaccinated,
spayed or neutered, and microchipped for easy and fail-safe identification.
Any required medications are also provided if necessary during their
stay. We then work with the dog to learn more about their temperment
and personality type. We carefully screen our clients to make the best
match of dog and owner.
Help us help others.
As you may have guessed, we love Collies. Our organization enables
us to assist Collies in need, prevent unnecessary euthanasia, and provides
a shelter to neglected or abused companions. We're not in it for the
money, just the peace of mind that we're providing a benefit to society
by controlling and managing the Collie population in our area.
